**BRAND NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH**

St Davids day today and the NPT Steelers have launched the much anticipated nptsteelers.com. Steelers commercial manger Chris Cornelius said "The website has been a work in progress for the past 4 months and still has a few minor details to add but a good site is one that is updated regularly. Today we are launching our newly branded website in time for the 2009 season. We hope that potential sponsors will see that we are commercially minded and that while the club is still in its infancy and at an amateur level, we are keen to progress and become a semi professional club over the coming seasons. A lot of work from the team have made fantastic strides to date and this is yet another mile stone. Having a professional website and scope for the future is all part of securing Rugby League in the region for seasons to come." The commitee are said to be delighted at the new website.

New Home Confirmed

The NPT Steelers have confirmed the move from Little Warren to Groes Fields which is also home to our rugby union cousins Corus. The move is yet another positive step in the right direction as the Steelers look to boost their profile within the community. James Davies said "it is somewhat fitting that we are now playing from the Corus facility given our name represents the steel works and the local community as a whole. We are building for a strong future of Rugby League in Wales and this is evermore evident in our strides to date. The name and venue are massive changes that our club has undergone in the past 2 years, but these changes were fundamental to even consider developing our club. Our focus this year is to reach the playoffs with a home draw and make a serious bid for the title this year. The Valley Cougars proved that the league is a lot more open than previous years when the Blue Bulls ran away with titles."

Boost as old favourite returns to the fold

Mike Healy is set to return to the NPT Steelers as Director of Rugby for the 2009 season. Healy will bring a much needed boost of confidence to put the Steelers back on track. Healy, along with Jason Massey, was responsible for the succesful inauguration season in 2007 which saw the Steelers reach the Semi Final after a dissapointing start to the campaign.

Massey and Healy have both had family and work commitments that caused them to step down at the end of the 2007 season and miss 2008.

The management are delighted at the return of Healy as he is a dedicated team player with a sincere passion for the NPT Steelers. Jason Massey returns to assist Healy in a Player/Coach role as he succesfully achieved in 2007. Both Healy and Massey share a wealth of league knowledge and ability and are both greatly respected amongst the club and players. We wish them all the best for 2009!
